Massive Entertainment revealed what's next for The Division 2 in the newest edition of the State of the Game, including three new Exotic gear pieces.
Skill Power enthusiasts, if anyone calls these mechanics so anymore, will rejoice at the new Exotic additions, set to arrive with TU 12. Two out of the three new Exotics are specifically tailored to such builds while the remaining one seems to be for coordinated teams.
Capacitor is the name of the first Exotic weapon, an assault rifle made for skill users that always wanted their own version of Striker gear set. Whenever you shoot an enemy, it will add one per cent of bonus skill damage. After not shooting them for five seconds, the stacks will start decaying at the rate of one stack per one second. Additional skill tiers will improve this weapon's damage.
In order to get the Capacitor, you will need to complete five challenges in a Summit run. You are guaranteed to gain this weapon upon completion, after which it will be added to the assault rifle loot pool.
Scorpio is a shotgun with a decent fire rate. It will apply various debuffs to target and multiple players using the weapon will help stack the debuffs. The debuff per stack list is as follows:
- One stack - Poison
- Three stacks - Disorient
- Six stacks - Shock
- Seven stacks - 20 per cent damage increase to the target
Scorpio stacks differently in PvP:
- One stack - Bleed
- Three stacks - Disrupt
- Six stacks - Ensnare
You will get this weapon as a Season 4 reward, along with the Waveform Holster, the remaining Exotic that was shown at SotG. It generates a stack of three per cent increased skill damage on one of the skills each second. At 10 stacks, the buff will transfer to the other stack, reset and count to 10 again before another reset and so on.
These items' looks can be previewed on the official The Division 2 subreddit .
