American retailer Target posted a listing for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor only to have it taken shortly after, most likely owing to a technical ups. The leaked info refers to standard and gold editions for $60 and $100 US respectively and was only displayed for the game's console versions.
The release date that went with the listing was 22 August alongside a vague promo blurb saying:
