Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was last patched in October 2016 for PlayStation 4 Pro purposes and the latest patch is a bit of a mystery, since no official announcement came along with it. Save files transferring to Shadow of War are still a rumour at this point.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor just got patched on Steam with a whooping 8.1MB update, no big deal - but why patch a 3 year old game, especially so close to the release of its sequel? It is also a little strange that no official patch notes or announcement came along with the patch.
