Ebb Software, the developer team behind the horror game Scorn have delayed the second gameplay trailer for their upcoming title. They did, however release a couple of screenshots to tide us over until the real stuff gets here.
You stared in disbelief when the first trailer for Scorn dropped and now the developers want to up the ante and make you fall deeper in love with their "atmospheric first-person horror adventure game". With that in mind, they are making you wait some more for the second gameplay trailer.
Recently, Ebb Software studio posted on the game's social media that they are taking some extra time with he second trailer in order to polish it up some more. They tweeted:
The post on Facebook says:
"Since the reactions to our first trailer were so positive we decided to give the upcoming gameplay trailer some more time to really shine. Second impression may be even more important than the first one so we want to make it great, not just good enough. Unfortunately that means you will have to wait some more for the gameplay trailer but here are a couple of screenshots from it just to get your imagination going."
Now, in case you're new to all this Scorn business, it is an "atmospheric first person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry. It is designed around an idea of "being thrown into the world"."
Thanks to that premise, the game will allow you to explore "different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion" all while making you feel "isolated and lost". And how could you not feel all those things and then some, when you're traversing the world that looks like every single inch of it is a living, breathing, meaty organism.
Scorn is under development by Ebb Software, a Serbian development studio. Despite a failed Kickstarter campaign, Scorn remains in development with a planned two-part release. The first part is scheduled for release during Q1 2017.
All this said, are you excited abut the gameplay trailer, or, more importantly, the game itself?
