Developer Facepunch Studios could be working on bringing their survival title Rust to mobile with an external developer. According to video game researcher Kurakasis.
The details are scarce as this is yet to be officially announced but the leaker states that the developer of Assassin's Creed Jade and PUBG Mobile, Level Infinite, could be behind this project.
Apparently, Facepunch Studios could announce Rust Mobile sometime later this year but since all of this is just a rumour, take everything with a grain of salt.
If the leak is indeed correct and Rust Mobile gets announced this year, we expect to hear the first details on the potential beta tests and more. As for the release date, it really depends on when exactly is the game announced.
Mobile games usually have a short window between the announcement and the release and hopefully, that will be the case with Rust Mobile too.
Rust was originally released way back in 2013 in Steam Early Access. A full launch followed in 2018 and since then, Rust has become one of the most popular and beloved survival games of all time.
Rust regularly attracts over 100k players on Steam almost every day due to its unique multiplayer component which can result in some nerve-wracking and hilarious moments.
It's certainly one of the online survival games that you can play at the moment and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Just remember to never trust anyone at first sight!
