Fortnite’s beloved Halloween event is returning for 2025, and this year’s Fortnitemares may be the biggest yet. Leaked online, but not confirmed by Epic Games yet, the Fortnitemares 2025 crossover lineup is gigantic.
From KPop Demon Hunters to horror icons like Ghostface, Art the Clown, and Jason Voorhees, this event is shaping up to have one of the most jam-packed collaborations yet.
So far, there are a lot of confirmed skins, a brand new limited-time mode, and thematic cosmetics. Here’s everything we know about Fortnitemares 2025 so far, including the full crossover list and release date.

A combination of horror icons, original Fortnite skins, and music crossovers, Fortnitemares 2025 already has a wild lineup.

Some sources indicate there are additional skins set to drop in the second half of October, but Epic Games hasn’t confirmed these or shared much other information.
Fortnitemares 2025 Release Date
Fortnitemares 2025 will be released in two parts:
- Stage 1: October 2, 2025: The KPop Demon Hunters crossover, a new limited-time mode called Demon Rush, themed cosmetics, and other surprises (expected to include a returning Among Us bundle).
- Stage 2: October 9, 2025: More Fortnitemares content with horror icons, such as Ghostface, Jason, Scooby-Doo, and more.
Server maintenance for Fortnitemares 2025 is expected to begin at 4 a.m. ET on October 2, with the first wave of content dropping immediately after maintenance ends.
Doja Cat Will Feature as a Fortnitemares Boss
Doja Cat is officially being added to Fortnite, and is widely expected to be added as a boss. The rapper officially revealed her future Fortnite collaboration on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, when Kimmel himself had his Fortnite lore knowledge put to the test in an appearance with the rapper in a special game of Real or Fake.
The official release of Doja Cat into Fortnite is expected to take place next week on the 9th of October, according to leaker HypeX. It is also expected that the ‘Mother of Thorns’ skin will take a place as a defeatable mini boss in Battle Royale.
Fortnitemares this year is also expected to come with a large number of additional collabs, with the most notable being a collab with Poppy’s Playtime, and is also expected to be the final big content release before the season draws to a close.

In addition to an insane lineup of skins, players can expect the following from Fortnitemares 2025:
