According to various rumours, leaks and reports, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's battle royale mode will be named Warzone and it is coming sometime next month. The earlier leaks revealed several new details about the mode, including the list of vehicles and more.
Despite this, Activision are yet to officially announce Warzone but the "classified" item in the game's main menu suggests it is only a matter of days before the official reveal drops.
More proof of this arrives today in a new video from Call of Duty leaker TheGamingRevolution. He claims that based on the evidence he managed to piece together, Call of Duty streamers and YouTubers are recording Warzone gameplay today!
Apparently, Activision are hosting a special preview event in Los Angeles today where Shroud, TheSyndicateProject and many other popular YouTubers will get to play the new mode and record gameplay, which they can post on their own channels later on.
TheGamingRevolution found a photo of TheSyndicateProject, where he can be seen wearing an Activision wristband (1:03 in the video) which is apparently from the preview event in LA.
Now, this has not been officially confirmed by the YouTuber so take it with a grain of salt but to us, it does look like the event is real and soon, we could get the first and official gameplay from Warzone.
Call of Duty: Warzone is rumoured to be free to play, standalone game and even those who did not purchase Modern Warfare will get to play it.
