Fortnite celebrates Rocket League going free-to-play with brand new content which includes a concert, in-game rewards and items. Rocket League also has something special to offer with its event which goes live on September 26, 2020.
Today, Rocket League creators Psyonic and Fortnite developer Epic Games have officially announced a crossover event named "Llama-Rama" that will bring unique content to both games. Fortnite will celebrate Rocket League's free-to-play release with a new concert from DJ Slushii, Rocket League fan-favourite and in-game rewards and items for both games.
DJ Slushii will be closing out the Fortnite Presents: Spotlight series with a live performance at Party Royale on September 26, 2020, at 5:00 PM ET/ 11:00 PM CET. If you don't make it on time, worry not, as rebroadcasts are scheduled for the same day at 11:00 PM ET/ 5:00 AM CET and September 27 at 1:00 PM ET/ 7:00 PM PT.
Epic Games also confirmed that they have added a picture in picture (PIP) feature that will allow you to watch Slushii’s show in core modes and Party Royale. Enable PIP in your game settings.
Furthermore, Rocket League players will get Fortnite-themed items as they complete Llama-Rama challenges in Rocket League. Those who complete all challenges will be rewarded with Rocket League's newest car, the Battle Bus, which you can check out in the image below.
Fortnite players, on the other hand, will receive Rocket League-themed items in Fortnite as part of the same Challenges.
