Capcom's rumoured remake of the iconic Resident Evil 4 could reportedly be a timed exclusive for PlayStation 5 console. It should come to PC after the release on PS5.

According to the latest rumours, Sony and Capcom have made several deals to make the PlayStation console the only place to play upcoming Capcom games, at least for a limited time. The rumour, which surfaced on Reddit claims that the majority of upcoming Capcom games are set to be timed exclusives including the rumoured remake of the iconic horror title Resident Evil 4.

We know from Capcom insider Dusk Golem that Resident Evil 4 Remake is real but Capcom are yet to officially announce the project. When they do, expect to hear about the timed exclusivity stuff, if the rumour is true.

"Resident Evil 4 Remake- PS5 timed exclusive for a set period, basically like FF7 remake where it comes to PC later. Not sure about Xbox," it's written in the post on Reddit.

This would not surprise us to be completely honest. Sony have aggressively started this generation with more third-party exclusivity deals than ever before and Capcom have always been close with Sony - Resident Evil Village deal as the latest example.

It will be interesting to see if this one turns out to be true. The leaker have also revealed the list of games that will be at Capcom's Tokyo Games Show, as proof that the info is correct so we won't have to wait for too long to see if this is fax or not.
