Ubisoft released another Rainbow Six Siege: Crimson Heist trailer, which throws in the new operator Flores, some sweet anime moves, and even some Argentinian accordion, and still makes it work.
We've seen more than one developer reach for traditional animation tools to enrich their games, and this is one trend we definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of. Ubi really did an awesome job here, blending in some James Bondian theme music to complete the picture.
Flores clearly has some skeletons in his closet, and we're talking about far more than just one. He got one thing right though - he seems to really be a slave of his trade, which is not sandwiches.
We've already seen his explosive capabilities in the earlier teaser, making Rainbow Six Siege's new operator already one of our favourites. His gameplay, hopefully, ends up as sleek as the trailer. After all, the man's an artist.
"The sly and tactical Flores is joining Rainbow Six's rank. As a new Attacker from Argentina, he will bring his fancy RCE-Ratero Charge. Crimson Heist is an action-packed season that offers reworks of the Border map and Newcomer playlist, a new secondary weapon, and plenty of other exciting additions", the dev wrote.
As for the launch date, Flores arrives with Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Crimson Heist on March 16, 2021. Unfortunately, that's only for battle pass holders, while the rest of the mortals have to wait another two weeks.
Some attacker loadouts will be getting a new secondary, GONNE-6, Rainbow Six Siege's hand cannon that specialises in destroying bulletproof gadgets. Ubisoft will also be dropping the Operator prices, but you can learn more on that on the official website and Operation Crimson Heist patch notes .
