PUBG developer Krafton are currently working on several new games and one of them is titled PUBG Cowboy. It's a brand new open-world survival title that takes place in a dystopian future in the PUBG universe.
No, PUBG Cowboy is not a western-themed battle royale game. Krafton revealed that conceptually, it's actually more like DayZ, with plenty of survival mechanics.
PUBG Cowboy is an open-world survival game that takes place in a dystopian future in the PUBG universe, according to the official description. Players will have to gather resources, craft new items, and loot for weapons while they fight other players on the map.
Some of the features that are currently present in PUBG Cowboy include the ability to chop down trees, mine for materials and move crafting materials from one place to another using a pickup truck. Sounds like your ordinary survival game, doesn't it?
Anyway, thanks to PUBG insider PlayerIGN, we have some screenshots from the game and we have to say that the game basically looks like the original PUBG with a darker tone to it.
At the moment, we do not have the official trailer for PUBG Cowboy but hopefully, Krafton will soon drop the announcement as well as the first details including platforms and release date.
Until then, check out these new screenshots. There's more on PlayerIGN's Twitter profile so make sure to give him a follow for future PUBG leaks.
