LEGO Fortnite is getting brand new content with Fortnite v30.40 update. The new update features new changes to the base game including the the new Battle Bus fast travel system.
Moreover, the new update also features new set of toys such as plates and activated balloons. Aside from that, Epic Games is also adding new set bundles that will allow players to build new structures in their village by purchasing them from the in-game store.

LEGO Fortnite 30.40 update New Content Drop
The Battle Bus fast-travel network is ready for operation in your world. Bus stations are a new kind of station that will already be set up in your world. You can build your own by destroying a Bus Station for Rift Shards, an ingredient for this Station.
At a Bus Station, a familiar-looking bus called a “Battle Bus” will pick you up and take you to a Bus Station of your choice. Get from a Village to your favourite mining spot in seconds.
New Toys
- Pressure Plate: A button you can stand on to turn on channels. The button needs to stay down to work!
- Trigger Plate: Another button you can stand on to turn on channels. Unlike a Pressure Plate, the button doesn’t have to stay down.
- Unlock the recipe for a Trigger Plate by adding Blast Powder to your inventory.
- Activated Balloon Small: A small balloon that comes uninflated. Inflate it using channel control!
- Unlock the recipe for an Activated Balloon Small by crafting a Loom.
- Activated Balloon Large: The same thing as an Activated Balloon Small, but bigger.
- Unlock the recipe for an Activated Balloon Large by crafting a Loom.

The downtime for Fortnite update v30.40 will begin on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 8 AM BST. The new content will be available in LEGO Fortnite as soon as the game goes online after the update.
