Wired Productions have officially confirmed that their first-person psychological thriller Martha is Dead is set to launch sometime in 2021 for Xbox Series X and PC.

Martha is Dead, a dark and disturbing horror title from LKA and published by Wired Productions is hitting Xbox Series X and PC in 2021, it has been officially confirmed by the publisher. Martha is Dead is set in 1944 and it follows a story of a young female who must deal with the fallout of her sister's disturbing murder, which occurred by the side of a lake in the depths of an Italian countryside.

To celebrate the release window reveal, Wired Productions shared a new trailer for the game, showcasing brand new footage captured in-game. You can check out the trailer below:

The game is built in Unreal engine 4 and the developers hope to deliver an incredible visual experience in first-person.

"Martha is Dead is set in a really interesting and distressing period of history, with Italy at this time torn between two major powers fighting for the future," Leo Zullo, Managing Director of Wired Productions said. "Martha's brutal murder brings with it a mirrored sense of misery. This game will shock, make players question the truth and like The Town of Light, help continue a conversation around subject matters that still carry much stigma."

At the moment, it is unknown if the game will also arrive to PlayStation 5 at a later date.
