Recently, Sony has let the world know just which titles will be optimized for PlayStation 5 Pro and how developers have shared their intentions on how they will use the additional power in the new console.
These improvements are going to hit both existing games and upcoming ones, enabling players to find improved visual and performance features within.
The new PlayStation 5 Pro will also arrive this fall, promising a number of new visual improvements and performance boosts for selected games.
Here's a breakdown of what you can expect from the improvements:
The Last of Us Part 1 & 2
- The better graphics mod will run at a locked 60 fps
Marvel's Spider-Man games and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
- Will introduce Performance Pro mode that will bring 4K resolution and raytracing to 60 fps
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Quality mode will run at 60 fps
The Crew Motorfest
- Will improve display quality with PSSR at 4K resolution at 60 fps
- Will improve readability of details in the distance
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- will increase the resolution for Performance and Fidelity modes
- will bring raytracing effects in Performance mode
Assassin's Creed: Shadows
- it will enhance 4K resolution with PSSR
- will bring more advanced raytracing and more detail to the world
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
- it will bring improved resolution and more stable framerate
Gran Turismo 7
- will bring more detailed performance in 4K with PSSR
- will enable ray-tracing reflections in races
- will include experimental support for rendering at 8K resolution (60 fps)
Resident Evil Village
- will get Performance mode in 120 fps
- will improve resolution with PSSR
Resident Evil 4
it will improve the resolution and bring a more stable framerate
Alan Wake 2
- it will improve the graphic details in Performance mode and raise the resolution to 4K
Stellar Blade
- in 4K resolution it will run at 50+ fps with a more detailed display of PSSR
- in Performance mode it will raise the framerate up to 80 fps
Hogwarts Legacy
- will improve image quality with PSSR in all modes
- will support raytracing reflections and shadows
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
- will raise the Quality mode to 4K resolution
- Performance mode will be locked at 60 fps with raytracing reflections
Dragon's Dogma 2
- will improve resolution with PSSR
- will add new raytracing features
- will contribute to a more stable framerate
Horizon Forbidden West & Zero Dawn Remastered
- Quality mode will run at 60 fps
- we will see improvements in the effects of shadows, skin, clouds, etc.
