Pokemon: Sun & Moon - Burning Shadows will be the third expansion to hit the trading card game. The expansion will bring new Pokemon, two new decks, and some brand new cards to the mix. Burning Shadows will be available on 04 August.
Last week, we got some more news on the the Gloomdweller Pokemon . This rare Pokemon will soon be joining Pokemon Sun and Moon. Today, the great news comes in the form of the third expansion in the latest Pokemon Trading Card Game series. The expansion is called Sun & Moon - Burning Shadows.
The press release says: "Minions of Team Skull and a cavalcade of new Pokemon stand ready to battle in the dark of night and in the blazing sun."
The latest expansion will bring along new titans like , and let you join forces with Machamp-GX and Charizard-GX. Sun & Moon - Burning Shadows will be available on 04 August.

The Burning Shadows expansion will bring north of 140 cards, including brand-new Pokemon-GX and full-art Supporter cards. There are also two new theme decks in the mix. The decks will have 60 cards each. The two decks will come preconstructed. The purpose of these new decks is to introduce players to the Pokemon TCG by letting them play straight from the get-go.
After the expansion rolls out there will be "even more brand new Pokemon" to play with. "Many of the exotic and tropical Pokemon that Trainers have come to love in the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon video games will join the Pokemon Trading Card Game, including Necrozma, Marshadow, and more".

The expansion will also bring "regional variants of classic Pokemon". That means that the classic Pokemon will have a new look in the Alola region. Lastly, booster packs. Each pack will contain 10 cards selected from the expansion as well as include at least one rare card.
