More details were revealed about the newest Pokemon called Marshadow. It's a Gloomdweller and the first Fighting and Ghost type Pokemon. Details on how and when Trainers can grab Marshadow will be "announced at a future time".

Marshadow was officially revealed back in April and now we have more details about the mythical new Pokemon. The Gloomdweller Pokemon Marshadow is the first Fighting and Ghost type Pokemon. It has its own exclusive Z-Move: Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike.

Marshadow conceals itself in the shadows. It never appears before humans, and that is where the "mythical" part comes from. It hides in the shadows of other Pokemon, and is able to copy their movements and power.

Just like me at any social event I go to, it "sinks into shadows and observes what is going on around it in such a way that no one else will notice it".

Marshadow is a rare Pokemon: he is the first to combine the Fighting and the Ghost type. Even though the Fighting-type Pokemon are usually ill-suited in battle against Psychic type Pokemon, there is now the added advantage of Marshadow’s Ghost type to help you battle effectively.

When it unleashes moves, Marshadow turns green: parts of its body turn green, thanks to its burning fighting spirit. There's also a new move called Spectral Thief, and Marshadow is the only Pokemon who can learn it. Spectral Thief "steals any stat boosts that the target had, and then deals an attack".

The Z-Move I mentioned before can be used by a Marshadow that knows Spectral Thief and is holding the special Z-Crystal Marshadium Z. The crystal can't be acquired through regular gameplay. When it is powered by the Z-Move, Marshadow "leaps out of its Trainer’s shadow and unleashes its full force on an opponent with a flurry of punches and kicks".

More details, including how Trainers can get this Pokémon for their game, will be announced at a future time.
