Pokemon Go's annual Valentine's Day event is back for 2020. Pink Pokemon will be appearing more often in the wild, in raids, in Eggs and as Field Research encounters from Friday, 14 February 2020 at 8:00 a.m. until Monday, 17 February 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
Making their Pokemon Go debut for this year's Valentine's Day event are the Audino, the Hearing Pokemon, and Alomomola, the Caring Pokemon. You can add them to your Pokedex by catching them while out in the wild or by hatching 7 km Eggs.
Audino and Alomomola are hard to find so keep your eyes peeled. The two Pokemon will remain available in Pokemon Go even after the current event comes to a close.
Regular Lure Modules activated during the event will last six hours, and you’ll receive a 2× Catch Candy bonus. The following pink Pokemon will hatch from 7 km Eggs:
There's also a Shiny Chansey in the wild and a Shiny Happiny can be hatched.
There are also some Valentine's Day-themed avatar items up for grabs. These include:
- The Luvdisc Top
- Ripped Luvdisc Jeans
- Luvdisc Shoes
Lickitung Raid Day
Continuing the pink Pokemon-themed festivities, a Raid Day featuring Lickitung will go down on Saturday 15 February 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. A Shiny Lickitung will also be out there somewhere.
Lickitung will be in four-star raids and know Body Slam. You can earn up to five Raid Passes at zero cost during the event by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. You cannot carry more than one of these Raid Passes at once, and they will not be available after the event ends.
