Niantic are hosting a slew of events for Pokemon Go in November 2019, one of them being the Supereffective Week. It starts on 19th and has many features to keep the trainers occupied.
Supereffective Week will kick off on 19 November 2019 at 1:00 PM PST / 9:00 PM GMT and will conclude on 26 November 2019 at the same hour.
Players will be encountering Pokemon that are efficient while battling Team GO Rocket and other trainers more often. This applies to the Pokemon found in the wild, raids and Field Research. Furthermore, the lucky trainers will have a chance to find a Shiny Tentacool.
There will be three bonuses active for the duration:
- Players will get double Stardust from trainer battles
- Additional potions and revives from PokeStops
- Three-star and higher raids will have guaranteed Charged TM
This is only the first event of November, however, as Terrakion will join five-star raids as soon as Supereffective Week concludes. From 26 November to 17 December 2019, players will be advised to stock up on Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic, Steel and Fairy-type Pokemon if they plan on challenging the newcomer.
There is also Friend Fest kicking off on 27 November 2019 so make sure you bring about any friends and family who also enjoy adventuring around with their mobile devices.
To celebrate, Stardust trade cost will be halved, two special trades will be available per day and Attack Boost will activate when raiding with friends. As a cherry on top, family-themed Pokemon will be found in the wild and research tasks.
While the summer was absolutely filled with Pokemon Go events, Niantic are certainly aiming to prove to players that they have no intention of stopping anytime soon.
