Niantic announced the particulars for the Community Day for May 2022, allowing the trainers to prepare almost one month in advance.
Pokemon Go Community Day for May 2022 will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time.
Alolan Geodude will be the featured Pokemon, meaning it will appear more often in the wild and lucky trainers can catch a Shiny version. If you evolve into Alolan Graveler and then evolve it into Alolan Golem during the event of up to two hours afterwards, it will get the exclusive Fast Attack, Rollout.
It's not that often the trainers get a unique Fast Attack through these events but here we are. It is good at generating energy quickly and it will be four power for trainer battles while the number will move to 14 power in gyms and raids.
Event bonuses include:
- 3X Stadust for catching Pokemon
- 2X Candy for catching them
- 2X Chance to receive Geodude XL Candy from catching the featured Pokemon
- Incense lasts for three hours
- Lure modules last for three hours
- One special trade will be available during the event and another one outside of it,
- Trades made during the event and up to two hours afterwards will require 50 per cent less Stardust
Niantic
Catching enough Pokemon with a single Lure Module will convert the 3X Stardust bonus to 4X for 30 minutes.
30 Ultra Balls will be available in the shop at no cost.
