Niantic have revealed a bunch of Gen 4 Pokemon that are coming to Pokemon Go. This comes on the tail of a leak that revealed new Mossy, Glacial and Magnetic lures were coming and likely previously unavailable evolutions with them.

Pokemon Go's Eevee will finally be able to evolve into Glaceon and Leafeon with the introduction of the new lures. Originally, Eevee would evolve into Leafeon when evolving close to a Mossy rock or Glaceon when evolving close to an Icy rock.

The new Magnetic, Glacial and Mossy lures will apparently take up that role as Niantic announced that new Eevee evolutions will be available with the new lures. Furthermore, the header image above clearly shows Leafeon on the left, confirming the initial leak  about the lures was correct.

Apparently, these new modules will make a temporary habitat required for those specific evolutions. In order to enable certain evolutions, trainers will need to be in the range of a gym with a proper lure enabled. They can then spin the gym's Photo Disc which will enable the evolution of Magneton and Nosepass as well as some of Eevee's evolutions.

Trainers will be presented with the opportunity to choose one of these special evolutions but they can also refuse them.

Eevee's evolutions are not the only new Pokemon coming to Niantic's game though. Cherubi, Gible, Hippopotas and more have been officially announced. They can be found in the wild or hatched from eggs. Not only will we get new Pokemon though, but we will also get an entirely new type Ground-type move called Earth Power.

Some of the new Pokemon from the Sinnoh region will feature Earth Power along with Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Aerodactyl, Camerupt and Claydol.

Earth power is a Charged Attack that can lower an opponent's defence in Trainer Battles. We haven't seen it in action yet but Niantic indicated the attack will be quite powerful. You can read up more on the official Pokemon Go website .
