Niantic announced all the goodies about the upcoming Community Day Classic in Pokemon Go, including the featured Pokemon, date, time and bonuses.
Pokemon Go Community Day Classic in April 2022 will happen on Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM local time.
Featured Pokemon
CDC in April 2022 will feature Mudkip. As per usual, lucky trainers can find it in the Shiny form for the duration of the event.
Those who manage to evolve Mudkip into Marshstomp and then Swampert before the event ends will get the exclusive Hydro Cannon charged attack. In Trainer Battles, it will be 80 power while it will boast 90 in Gyms and raids.
Special Research story
You can access Mudkip Community Day Classic story for Mudkip during the event at the price of $1 or the regional equivalent. Niantic will announce separately when the Special Research story will go live.

- Taking photos during the event will yield some sort of a surprise
