Upcoming Pokemon Go Community Day is officially kicking off in two days with some sweet bonuses and features. The star of the event is Bulbasaur, the beloved grass/poison Pokemon.

Start and end date
Start date: Saturday, January 22, at 2:00 PM Local Time
End date: Saturday, January 22, at 5:00 PM Local Time

Features
Exclusive Move - Ivysaur evolved to Venusaur or Venusaur caught during the event (plus two hours after) will know the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.
Frenzy Plant
- Trainer Battles: 100 Power
- Gyms and raids: 100 Power
You cannot use non-elite TMs to learn Exclusive Moves.
Photobomb - During the event, you can snap an AR Photo and get photobombed by Bulbasaur.

You can access the Bulbasaur Community Day Classic Special Research story for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency).
Shiny Bulbasaur
Since Shiny Bulbasaur is already available in-game, Niantic will increase the spawn rates during the event.

Players will be able to purchase Community Day Box for 1,280 PokeCoins. The box includes 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM.
