Abra Community Day was initially set for March 2020 in Pokemon Go but Niantic had to postpone it due to Covid-19 pandemic. Now it has a new date, 25 April 2020.
April Community Day will take place on the last Saturday of the month, starting at 11:00 AM and finishing at 5:00 PM local time, meaning the players have double the usual time to enjoy the event. It should also help space out the Pokemon hunting so people don't clump up in the same place at the same time.
As per usual, the featured Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild. The lucky ones will even come across a Shiny Abra and evolving either the normal or the rare version during the event or up to two hours afterwards will let the final evolution, Alakazam, an exclusive attack. In this case, it will be the Fighting-type Fast Attack Counter.
Players can purchase the Investigating Illusions Special Research story at the price of $1 or the regional equivalent. Completing the story will yield 13,000 Stardust, a Poffin, Rocket Radar and more rewards. Tickets are yet to go wild but the official site stated there will be a notification.
Triple Stardust will be the featured bonus, making it easier to power up the Pokemon for the GO Battle league. Coupled with the previously added option to instantly use up the Stardust, powering them up should be easier than ever.
Instead of Lure Modules, Incense will last for three hours for the duration of the event while Buddy Pokemon with Great Buddy level or higher will help players with attaining useful items like Poke Balls through the event.
You can check the full bonuses and the featured April Community Day bundle on the official Pokemon Go website.
