Pokemon GO updates in time for holiday season

and have added several several second generation 'baby'  Pokémon to the Pokémon Go roster. The new additions include Togepi and Pichu, next to a few others which can be hatched from eggs.

The developers seem to be structuring the arrival of new Pokémon to the game incrementally, giving players reason to periodically return to as updates continue.

The last update also globally contains a holiday specific special-edition Pikachu, sporting a holiday hat. You will have the opportunity to catch this fellow up until the 29th of December.
