Niantic published the information about the first Community Day in Pokemon GO for 2022 and this one is going back to the roots, pardon the pun.
Pokemon GO Community Day of January 2022 will happen on Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 PM local time. As usual, the event will go on for three hours, until 5:00 PM local time.
Bulbasaur will be the featured Pokemon, one of the fan favourites, not in small part due to the legendary TV show many of us grew up with. Just like before, the trainers have until two hours after the event's conclusion to evolve Bulbasaur into Ivysaur and eventually Venusaur in order to get the special attack, which will be Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.
In order to participate in the special research for Bulbasaur Community Day Classic , you will need to purchase a ticket that costs $1 or the local equivalent, per pricing tier. It will not include a special medal and more details will be shared closer to the Community Day itself.
As for the bonuses, trainers will be able to enjoy:
- Triple Catch XP
- Three-hour long Lure Modules
- Three-hour long incense
- Surprise for taking snapshots during the Community Day
Additionally, there will be two bundles that can be picked up in the shop during the event - one free and one paid. Community Day Box will cost 1,280 PokeCoins and will offer 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Star Pieces and an Elite Charged TM.
