Abandoned developer Blue Box Game Studios have started deleting most tweets that described future plans for their horror title.
The Abandoned situation is truly remarkable. This horror title, which was originally announced back in 2020 was supposed to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, developed by a small and at that time unknown Dutch studio Blue Box Game Studios.
Shortly after the announcement, Hideo Kojima fans started sharing wild theories that Blue Box CEO Hasan Kahraman is actually Hideo Kojima and that Abandoned is a brand new Silent Hill game.
However, not only that Kahraman is not Kojima and Abandoned is not Silent Hill, this horror title may never see the light of the day since Blue Box have been apparently deleting their tweets regarding the future of Abandoned.
According to research by PlayStation modder Lance McDonald, Blue Box deleted tweets about a playable demo, the game file size and how the issues they had with the demo only needed a small patch.
Since those tweets, many months have passed and we have not got a single update or a patch, that would allow players to experience the game.
Blue Box promised to share more news in Q1 2022 but as you already know, the first quarter of 2022 is ending today - March 31, 2022. That's another broken promise by the developer and the whole situation is becoming increasingly suspicious.
Does the game even exist? Is it cancelled? Or Blue Box are simply unable to make a progress and needs to delay the game over and over again? Whatever the case is, Blue Box and Sony need to be more transparent about Abandoned, for their own sake.
