Horizon Lunar Colony is the latest map to arrive in Overwatch. The update that brought the new map also buffed McCree and Reaper as well as nerfed Roadhog. A free Golden Loot Box is on offer until 10 August.
Overwatch players just got a new map to play around in. Initially, the map was going to be disabled in Competitive Play for the first week. Turns out, the new heroes are disabled but the new Horizon Lunar Colony is in this week's Competitive Play map rotation. Good luck everyone.
So what's the deal with the new map? It is called Horizon Lunar Colony, and it's set on, drum roll please, the Moon. Winston and his gorilla buddies grew up there, so it comes as no surprise that little bits of lore will be scattered around the place. Winston's dormitory, the moon's telescope room, and a few low gravity areas have been made available for you to explore.

The map was designed to give you a sense of what happened before and during the gorilla uprising on the moon. Horizon Lunar Colony came as a part of a bigger update.
The update buffed McCree and Reaper as well as nerfed Roadhog. Changes to McCree are as follows:
Deadeye:
- Targets now begin locking on after 0.2 seconds, instead of 0.8 seconds
- Damage accumulated over the first 1.0 seconds increased from 20 to 80 (damage per second after the first 1.0 seconds is unchanged)
Reaper's health orbs have been removed and he now regains 20 percent of all damage done to other heroes as health. Roadhog's head hitbox size was reduced by 20 percent, his Scrap Gun's bullet damage was decreased by 33 percent, fire rate was increased by 30 percent and his clip size went from four to five.
