Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to introduce a brand new mastery camo according to reliable ModernWarzone over at Twitter. The new mastery camo will be Obsidian.
UPDATE: We have added the first screenshot of Obsidian camo in the game. In order to obtain the camo, you will need 15 kills per match 150 times.
Original article: Recently, Infinity Ward's Art Director Joel Emslie confirmed that a new master camo will be coming to the game pretty soon. However, since then, we did not get any official announcement or details about the new camo but it looks like that could change in the upcoming weeks.
According to ModerWarzone Twitter, who accurately shared several details about the game before, a new mastery camo is Obsidian and unlike Damascus, it will be independent per weapon. It will arrive as soon as next week, it is written in the tweet, which you can check out below.
Again, Joel Emslie earlier confirmed that the new camo will arrive in early April but it looks like Infinity Ward needed more time to implement the skin properly. We also know that Obsidian camo will not replace existing camos, it will arrive as additional new content. Also, Obsidian will be available in both Modern Warfare and Warzone if that was not obvious by now.
All in all, we will have to wait a bit more to see the special new Obsidian camo in action. What type of grind will be required to obtain the new camo it remains to be seen but you can bet it won't be an easy task.
