Niantic announced the details for the Community Day that will be happening all over the globe, providing Pokemon Go players with even more bonuses.
Pokemon Go often gets events on top of the monthly Community Day but now Niantic announced another one of their own CDs. Niantic Community Day is going to be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time.
Depending on your location, you might be able to get some free merch, as long as you get there in time. The merch will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis so it's not guaranteed that everyone gets some. Furthermore, not all featured locations will have merch stands.
Some locations will simply feature more items for spinning a PokeStop.
You can see all the locations that will have the goodies on the provided map , where the orange markers denote places with free merch while the blue ones are pointing to PokeStop bonuses.
UK will have meeting locations across five cities in total:
- London
- Bristol
- Cardiff
- Edinburgh
- Liverpool
In the case of London, there is a total of three meeting points so make sure you zoom in on that map to check out each one of them and figure out which one is the closest.
Niantic
Niantic also asked all potential participants to be aware of their surroundings and abide by the local health guidelines, in order to minimise potential infections if meeting points become crowded.
