The newest FarCry6 leak, that appeared online on July 10, 2020 shows a host of details about the game, including the main villain's identity and the expected release date of the game.
Earlier in the day, on the PlayStation store appeared a strange sight, it was the cover of the upcoming Far Cry 6 game.
This mistake was quickly rectified, but it was too late, the information was already out there and many people were sharing images of the captured leak.
The leak consists of the game cover and description, release date, preorder weapon bonus and the fact that the upgrade to the PS5 version will be free.
Concerning the cover, images courtesy of @AlexRichards65 on Twitter, it portrays the image of a man and a little boy set to a backdrop of the ongoing revolution. This part is clearly explained in the description of the game as players will be playing on the island of Yara as a revolutionary fighting against the oppressor, Anton Castillo, who is set to return the nation to its former glory through bloodshed.
The male character appears to be the Danish-born American actor and director Giancarlo Esposito, who was long suspected to be the main villain of the upcoming game.
In the description, we also find out that the new game will have the biggest map of any Far Cry game yet. For those who preorder the game, the special treat included as a bonus is the Discos Locos weapon and a skin for Chorizo.
And in a fair move by the publishers, the game will be available for both the PS5 and PS4 with the same purchases, meaning if you buy the game for the PS4 you will automatically get a free upgrade when the game becomes available on the PS5.
Releasing on February 18. 2021, the game looks to be well on its way, and since this info has appeared directly on the PlayStation store, most likely by mistake, it can be taken as a kind of official confirmation of what is to come.
