Final Fantasy VII Remake install size will clock at 100 GB according to the leaked details from the game's PlayStation 4 case. The game will also arrive on two Blu-ray discs.
The remake of the iconic action RPG from Square Enix, Final Fantasy VII Remake is hitting the shelves in just a couple of months now. As you may know, Square Enix already confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be one gigantic game in terms of install size. It will arrive on two Blu-ray discs, same as Rockstar's mammoth Red Dead Redemption 2 and the upcoming The Last of Us: Part II and Cyberpunk 2077.
Today, we have a leak, which revealed the backside of the Final Fantasy VII Remake PlayStation 5 case. As you can see in the picture below, it is the Korean version of the game, but some of the details are presented in English, including the one that reveals the install size of the game, which will clock at around 100 GB.
The leak looks pretty legit and 100GB install size is not surprising since Final Fantasy VII Remake will certainly be packed with a ton of high-quality cinematics and high-resolution textures. However, until Square Enix officially confirm this, we suggest you take it with a grain of salt, just like any other rumour or unconfirmed info.
That being said, many players are shocked that Part 1 of the game is already clocking at 100 GB. Some predict that the full game will be around 500 GB while others are already preparing external HDDs. Hopefully, they have the new gadgets in place until 10 April 2020 when Final Fantasy VII Remake is officially launching for PlayStation 4.
