Square Enix have released a brand new Final Fantasy VII Remake video to thank the fans for being patient and waiting so long for the game to release. You can check out the video above to listen to Yoshinori Kitase, lead producer on the game and watch some gorgeous gameplay bits.
One thing that you will immediately notice is that the video has a disclaimer which states that gameplay has been captured on PC, which basically confirms that the game will release on PC once the exclusivity deal with Sony expires.
Of course, this is not surprising at all since Square Enix have ported the entire Final Fantasy series to PC but it is nice to know that the PC version exists and is in the works, or probably even done by now.
As for the timed exclusive deal, Final Fantasy VII Remake will remain on Sony's platform for one year so you can expect to play the PC version of the game sometime in early April 2021.
Hopefully, the PC version will also arrive with some exclusive features such us unlocked framerate, support for ultra-wide monitors, native 4K resolution and more.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is out now for PlayStation 4.
