2K Sports have today unveiled new details about NBA 2K24 including the release date, pre-order details, platforms, cross-play support and new features.

Today, 2K Games revealed a ton of new details about their upcoming basketball simulation NBA 2K24, which was officially announced yesterday.

Until now, we only knew that Kobe Bryant would be the star of this year's release since he's on the official cover and also has two editions of the game named after him.

When is NBA 2K24 releasing and on what platforms?

NBA 2K24 will be coming on September 8, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will get the "next-gen" version. Sadly, PC players will also get the last-gen build, which is disappointing to say the least.

Does NBA 2K24 feature crossplay?

Yes, NBA 2K24 will have crossplay on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Cross-platform play will allow you to play co-op matches and online tournaments with your friends. Crossplay seems to be exclusive to current-gen consoles, meaning that PC, PS4 and Xbox One players won't get this popular feature.
