Microsoft announced the next round of games that are free for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as part of their Free Play Days campaign.
Free Play Days promotion has started and will last until the end of the weekend, i.e. Sunday, February 14 at 11:59pm PT.
Players are getting a nice assortment of games to try out, although three days may not be enough to get a proper taste of all of them.
Nascar Heat 5 launched in July 2020 and the racing game should be an instant pick up for those who played Heat 4. 704Games stuck to mostly minor changes and the introduction of the single-player track testing mode, so seasoned veterans shouldn't have trouble picking where they left off.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is the one we referred to when we said a weekend is not enough, but Xboxers will soon find that out for themselves.
There's a love story here too, as Warhammer: Vermintide 2 launched on Xbox One along with launching on Game Pass, so players should be at least familiar with it.
Players get to test their mettle in five roles, fighting off the endless hordes of Chaos Army and Skaven, the rat-men that give the game its name. Obviously, it is a game from the Warhammer universe, which always guarantees outrageous strangeness and an equal dose of fun in the same package.
Last but not least is Space Crew, the sequel to insanely fun and just as popular Bomber Crew. It's a crew management game with rich singleplayer content, and it's another game that is likely to make the three days of Free Play Days feel like an hour.
