Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or Lockhart and another console, currently codenamed Xbox Edinburgh could be released by Microsoft. Rumour has it, Edinburgh could be all-digital Series X console or XCloud server blade.
Microsoft are yet to fully reveal their plans for the next-gen lineup. Rumours and codenames have been floating around the internet for a while now, suggesting that the tech giant have at least one more console ready for release - Xbox Series S which is codenamed, Lockhart.
Microsoft never officially commented on Lockhart but sources state that this could be a cheaper next-gen console, potentially a digital-only variant that would be focused on Xbox Game Pass.
Today, we have another clue which suggests that another Xbox Series console could be real. Windows Central's Jez Corden teased this on his Twitter as you can see below.
However, he quickly made it clear that players should not get their hopes up for a handheld console since Xbox Edinburgh could be something related to Cloud but he also mentioned that it could possibly be a digital version of Xbox Series X.
"Don't get hyped for a handheld or new form factor or something like that, might be something like an XCloud server blade," Corden wrote.
We already know that Microsoft's rival Sony will release two versions of PlayStation 5 - digital-only and with a blu-ray drive - so it would not be surprising if Xbox Series X digital-only console also exists.
However, until we get an official confirmation from Microsoft, take this with a grain of salt just like any other rumour, leak or unconfirmed info.
Xbox Series X is currently scheduled to release sometime during Holiday season 2020.
