Bioware have revealed the official minimum and recommended PC system requirements for the upcoming Mass Effect Legendary Edition. The game will take around 120 GB of storage space.

Yesterday, we got to see first gameplay and screenshots from Bioware's remaster of the iconic sci-fi trilogy Mass Effect. The developers showcased the improvements they've made to the game's visuals and it's safe to say that the first game in the series received the biggest overhaul in terms of graphics.

Of course, pretty looks require powerful hardware and Bioware have released the minimum and recommended specs for PC players who plan to purchase the trilogy. Here are the specs in full:


  • Processor: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-8350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X 
  • VRAM: 2 GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 120 GB available space


  • Processor: Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1070 / RTX 200, Radeon Vega 56 
  • VRAM: 4 GB 
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 120 GB available space

Mass Effect Legendary Edition officially launches on May 15, 2021, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
