Mass Effect Legendary Edition is already a darling amongst the fans of the original franchise and now Mass Effect 3 might welcome back its multiplayer.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition launched just one week ago - May 14, 2021, and the three-game extravaganza is already giving its loyal fans hours upon hours of unbridled fun.
Rumours about a possible multiplayer mode on its way to Mass Effect 3 have begun swirling after Nick @Shpeshal_Nick , Co-Founder of http://XboxEra.com and co-host of the XboxEra Podcast tweeted the following message:
Nick's Tweet simply reads: "Just received word that there's a pretty good chance the multiplayer for Mass Effect 3 in the Legendary Edition will be revealed/announced at EA Play."
Back in February, Mac Walters, writer and director who worked on the game, told The Verge that the reason BioWare had cut multiplayer from Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition was to focus on improving single-player. Seems that it's "mission accomplished" on that front and the company is taking steps to add a new coat of paint on the entire franchise.
If Nick's Tweet turns out to be true, this will be a huge boon to the fans as praises for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer still echo the hallowed halls of AltChar towers.
Nick has been right about a few Xbox things and monthly PS+ games before, so we've deducted one (1) grain of salt.
