The game developer NetEase Games presented new gameplay footage for Emma Frost’s X-Revolution skin before Marvel Rivals Season 2: Hellfire Gala starts. A recent leak indicates fans can look forward to a free Twitch Drop skin for Namor which increases excitement for the upcoming update.
Marvel Rivals Season 2 will begin on April 11 with the addition of Emma Frost as a Vanguard-class hero on the battlefield. Emma transforms into Diamond Form to become a frontline tank which makes her immune to status effects. Her ultimate ability forces nearby enemies to move toward her which can disrupt enemy ultimates and turn the fight in her favor.
Content creators attended a preview event where they tested Emma Frost and displayed her spectacular X-Revolution skin. The look includes black and gold color scheme coupled with a bold diamond “X” emblem and an extended hairstyle featuring a graceful front swoop. Starting April 11 players can acquire the skin from the in-game shop where it will launch together with a new Season 2 battle pass containing various cosmetics.
Namor's new skin leaked
Namor fans receive exciting news alongside Emma Frost who headlines Season 2. A reliable source has revealed that Namor will receive a complimentary "Will of Galacta" skin through Twitch Drops during the Hellfire Gala season.
Players will receive a purple-and-blue recolor of Namor's default outfit as a cosmetic reward through Twitch Drops which matches earlier free skins given to heroes like Adam Warlock and Hela.
Namor is a Duelist hero because he deploys aquatic turrets that automatically attack opponents. In Season 2 Namor teams up with Hulk and Iron Man in place of Doctor Strange for a strong alliance. Namor becomes more dangerous on the battlefield when he teams up with Hulk because his turrets deliver additional gamma damage.
Season 3 brings Scarlet Witch free rewards
The second season introduces free rewards for players who earn the Scarlet Witch “Chaos Gown” skin by playing nine matches and gain a themed nameplate after completing three matches.
The sorceress’s dramatic style matches perfectly with her satin-red gown skin that features black accents. Scarlet Witch will join forces with Doctor Strange to create a powerful portal-based combat strategy.
NetEase announced that starting with Season 3 Marvel Rivals will adopt a two-month seasonal schedule instead of the previous three-month intervals.
The development team guarantees an equivalent volume of content featuring fresh heroes and maps while planning to release one new hero each month to maintain engaging gameplay.
