Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco have rolled out a new trailer for Little Nightmares 2, and this one is extra special as it features famous mentalist Derren Brown.
If you're not familiar with Brown, then yours truly genuinely envies you because watching his shows can be as profound an experience as it is spectacular.
We're not sure who came up with the idea to have him take part in the new trailer for Little Nightmares 2, but he/she deserves a raise, because rarely are celebrities such a perfect match for the mood and theme of a video game.
"How powerful are bad dreams? Are they simply tricks of the mind, or is something more sinister at play? Who better to teach us about them than the master of mentalism, Derren Brown?", the description reads.
My slobbering over Brown aside, we have less than a week until the launch of Little Nightmares 2, when we finally get to see for ourselves whether Mono has what it takes to pick up Six's mantle.
Granted, Six will still feature heavily and for the most part, Tarsier and Bandai Namco haven't taken any sharp turns in terms of creative direction. Much like its predecessor, Little Nightmares 2 brings an equal dose of dread, mystery and cuteness wrapped in a dark, malevolent world.
Bandai Namco have recently been giving away copies of Little Nightmares, so hopefully, you picked it up and played the heck out of it, which should do well to prepare you for next week. Of course, the narrative won't be an obstacle and you can play Little Nightmares 2 as its own experience, but the continuity of the in-game world is truly a shame to disrupt.
