While the event itself left a lot to be desired last year, however, the Ruination still has time to spring back, with a new book released by Riot Games, detailing the Ruination.
The main event of season 11 of League of Legends was the Ruination event. One that has been teased by the game for years now, with the item Blade of the Ruined King.
However, the event itself was not a success at all. In fact, it served as an example of what not to do. However, the story surrounding the event has an unfulfilled potential.
That potential is about to get fulfilled by the new book released by Riot Games, apply named " Ruination ".
The book details the journeys of Kalista, and her search of the Blessed Isles. However, it seems that the focus of the book is the betrayal by Thresh, or the human warden he used to be, as well as the choice Kalista must make between helping her cousin and King, and destroying the Blessed Isles.
AS e al know, though, the story ends in the destruction of the Blessed Isles, turning them into, what is now, the Shadow Isles, with everyone found within turning into some sort of undead.
We can't wait to see how the book portrays champions such as Hecarim, Kalista, Thresh, and Viego before they became the undead they are today.
