League of Legends - Tahm Kench has reigned long enough

What has the world come to that the best bot lane champion is  bloated catfish that licks people to death. We could stomach Yasuo, but this is taking things too far.

League of Legends patch 12.11 started off as a seemingly normal patch, albeit one that is larger than usual. However, no one could predict just what it will do to Tahm Kench specifically.

As it stands right now Tahm Kench has an astonishing 57.40% win rate in SoloQ, as a bot lane carry champion. As if he wasn't strong enough in this unorthodox role previously, Riot Games gave him a sizable buff in patch 12.11 as well:

  • Passive magic damage on-hit increased
  • Q heal increased
  • R shield strength increased.

In their explanation of the buffs, the developers said:

" UNBENCHED. UNLOADED. UNCLOGGED. The Durability Update wasn't particularly nice to Tahm in any of his roles, so we're granting this fish's wishes by giving him some compensatory buffs to his heals and shields which should help him stick around longer in extended fights."

Riot Games League of Legends - Twitch League of Legends Patch 12.11 fifth best ADC, and the number one marksman

We have no  idea what they were talking about precisely, as the champion was doing fine, and has now gotten to the point where he stands as the champion with the highest win rate in the entire game.

The worst ting is, Tahm Kench is not the only one, as the ADC role only start having marksmen in the win rate percentage list from the fifth place onwards. We sincerely hopeRiot revert thee changes as soon as possible, as it bears no need mentioning just how unhealthy of a meta this currently is.
