The new champion is coming to the Rift on the coattails of Bel'Veth. Just two patches after the Queen of the Void, we are getting the one capable of killing her.
Nilah channels the power of a demon of joy to slay mythical beasts and defeat her enemies. She’s an epic, monster-slaying hero who’s building out her own legend day by day.
An ascetic warrior, Nilah practices a strict code of rite and ritual that gives her power over Ashlesh, an ancient demon of joy who was sealed away eons ago.
Ashlesh, the demon in question, is a member of The Ten, the oldest and most powerful demons in existence, the same as Fiddlesticks. It pushes joy to its hideous extremes, feeding on the dark, inverted aspects of the emotion, like delirium and obsession. But Nilah has harnessed Ashlesh’s power to do good.
Nilah, and Ashlesh are coming to the Rift with patch 12.13, or more exactly, on July 13, 2022.
One thing to be aware of is that Nilah will most likely be Op once she gets released, and not just because of her abilities, but also due to the meta she is currently in, as she favors playing with enchanter supports, who are currently all the rage.
So, if you are a bot lane main, be prepared to either pick or ban Nilah every game for the foreseeable future. Or rely on the enem not knowing how to play her well, and just int the game away.
