League of Legends isn't new to glitches, but a new exploit discovered recently takes it to a whole new level altogether. Unlike simply deleting turrets and Nexus, this bug allows a player to delete and attack the enemy shop, depriving the enemy faction of in-game purchases in items.
League receives continuous updates from Riot, and with each update, new issues arise. In Patch 25.S1.3, a new bug, fittingly enough, titled the "Enemy Shop Destruction" exploit, emerged, allowing certain champions to attack and destroy enemy shops, effectively removing them from the map in its entirety.
Once such an incident happens, such items cannot be bought for a player in a similar position, and it is almost impossible for them to keep pace with opponents.
How the exploit works
The bug was first discovered by renowned League creator Vandiril, who uploaded a clip featuring the exploit. In the clip, Senna can destroy enemy shop, even earning 50 gold for it in the bargain.
Once it is destroyed, enemy team can no longer buy items, but only when respawning, having died, and not when in-game, i.e., can shop only at deathsreen.
The exact exploit method hasn’t been publicly disclosed, most likely in a move to prevent abuse. Regardless, it’s been confirmed that a script tool will have to be run, and casual players won’t stand a chance at getting it done through native software alone.
Riot Games will most likely shut down any player who’s exploiting, and any player who’s attempting to exploit will have a high chance of getting banned.
