Kingdom Come: Deliverance on PS5 may be sooner than you think. Despite Warhorse Studios previously confirming that the RPG will not get a current-gen upgrade from its original release, a new PlayStation Store listing details that the game has been “Updated for PlayStation 5”.
The updated listing description reportedly goes into detail about the technical improvements that Kingdom Come: Deliverance players can expect on PS5.
There hasn’t been any official announcement from Warhorse Studios, but that hasn’t stopped speculation from running wild over a PS5 version or remaster that many fans have been wanting for some time.
What the PS5 Listing Reveals
Here’s what the PS5 listing for Kingdom Come: Deliverance details:
- Resolution up to 4K
- High-res textures
- Better performance
The original PS4 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released years ago but struggled to hit consistent frame rates at times, namely when in towns and during large battles.
It’s unclear if players who own the PS4 version will be granted free access to the update or if Kingdom Come: Deliverance PS5 will launch as its own remastered version. So far, there has been no comment from Warhorse Studios on pricing, upgrade options, or when we can expect this version to release.
What We’ll Likely See
Currently, everything we’re seeing with the Kingdom Come: Deliverance PS5 update is speculation until Warhorse Studios makes an official statement. For now, consider this leak an early heads up and not an confirmed release date.
In the meantime, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is already out on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
