Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have announced Mysteria Ecclesiae, the concluding story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, arriving November 11 across PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro. The expansion aims to blend historical authenticity with investigative gameplay as beloved protagonist Henry tackles a mysterious epidemic within ancient monastery walls.
Players will accompany Henry as he assists Sigismund Albicus, a prestigious healer connected to King Wenceslas, on a covert investigation at Sedletz Monastery. When a deadly plague strikes the religious community, Henry must navigate competing factions, each harboring concealed agendas, to uncover the disease's origins before it spreads further.
Fresh gameplay mechanics, outfits, weapons
The expansion introduces Sedletz Monastery as an entirely new explorable location, faithfully recreated to historical specifications. Players will gradually unlock different monastery sections while piecing together clues, testing their deductive reasoning throughout a cinematic narrative quest. Warhorse say that the DLC will reward thorough exploration with new equipment including unique outfits, weapons, potions, and books that enhance Henry's capabilities.
Mysteria Ecclesiae emphasizes player choice, allowing decisions to influence relationships with various monastery factions and shape the investigation's outcome. The expansion's focus on mystery-solving represents a departure from the base game's combat-heavy sequences, offering variety to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II's medieval gameplay formula.
Included with Gold Edition
Priced at £11.49, Mysteria Ecclesiae is included with the Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition and Expansion Pass. Gold Edition purchasers receive the base game, Gallant Huntsman's Kit, and access to all three paid story expansions plus the Shields of Season pack, delivering comprehensive content for fans invested in Henry's 15th-century Bohemian adventures.
