Shot callers for the Injustice movie seem to be exactly what this iteration of DC's heroes needed since they are apparently not straying away from source material.
When you have great source material, you also have a fantastic foundation to build your entertainment media on. While it's simple to comprehend, this concept appears to perplex many showrunners these days.
Thankfully, this is not the case with the upcoming Injustice movie, which has received a new trailer recently. Those who played the original Injustice: Gods Among Us, read associated comics or at least watched the game's cutscenes, will recognise pretty much all the scenes shown in the brief video.
A pessimist could call it to copy and paste but in reality, this is pretty much what every fan wants - Injustice games created an amazing DC universe that has potential to tell its own stories and captivate new audiences that didn't get the chance to play the games.
Even those who played through Injustice and know the plot are sure to enjoy the movie since the story was really that good and not having to play fights out between cutscenes may just end up being what some of the DC fandom needed.
Unfortunately, the original voice cast will not reprise their roles but the new talent certainly sounds up to the task.
Injustice will be available on October 19, 2021.
