DC fans may be itching for a good movie but it might be a video game that satisfies that need in the end. Injustice: Gods Among Us is free to keep on Steam, PSN and Xbox store.
Injustice: Gods Among Us free to keep promotion is going to last an entire week, giving you plenty of time to grab it on the platform of your choice - or all of them, provided you have the hardware. For your convenience, you can pick the game up at the following links:
The best part is that this is the Ultimate Edition, which means you will get all the accompanying DLC at no cost.
In case you missed out for the past seven years, this game is often considered to have a better and more gripping storyline than the actual DCEU movies on the big screens. It also happens to have the conflict between Batman and Superman at its core which throws further shade on the subsequent movies that didn't dazzle the fans nearly as much.
Neither Warner Bros. nor NetherRealm Studios announced why the free to keep promotion is happening but fans are speculating that the third game is in the works and will be announced soon. Therefore, getting more people immersed in the world of Injustice would potentially mean a bigger audience for the upcoming reveal.
Considering that the first Injustice game came out in 2013 and the second one in 2017, the fan speculations are not really off the base since 2021 would be a great time to release, with both current and next-gen markets widely open.
