Immortals Fenyx Rising - The Lost Gods DLC will introduce the players to a whole new champion, a top-down camera angle and waves of monsters to cut down.
Immortals Fenyx Rising - The Lost Gods is the third narrative DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising . The fresh batch of content is set to drop from Mt Olympus on April 22.
Introduced before the game itself officially launched, The Lost Gods will flip the script on the players by introducing some new camera angles, brawler-inspired battles and a brand-new hero - Ash.
Ash - With new powers come new rules
Ash is Fenyx’s champion, sent to track down the "lost gods" – including Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Boreas, and Hestia, all of whom left Olympos after a falling-out with Zeus.
ASh's job is to convince the eternal beings to go back home and fix the mortal's world.
The new hero is as mortal as they come and operates by a different set of rules. She's got the jumping, sword and axe skills down, but all her other abilities will be unlocked by doing favours for the gods and nymphs on the Pyrite Island.
Ash's new skills the players will be able to unlock include:
- Catastrophe Quake, which deals damage to all nearby enemies while also surfacing and stunning any underground ones;
- Nature’s Fury, a continuous beam of energy that inflicts more damage over time, and lasts as long as your stamina gauge can support it.
Also new are Divine Influences and Essences, which can be applied to all of Ash’s abilities and godly powers. Unlocked with sacrificial offerings found throughout the world, each Divine Influence adds a perk slot that can add elemental buffs to attacks, affect a power’s stamina consumption, and so on.
Sacrifice = life
The altars peppered around the landscape will each offer a new waypoint that can be used for fast travel from other altars - in exchange for sacrificial resources you’ll find throughout the world.
You can also sacrifice specific items at certain altars to request miracles, which are frequently necessary to progress, and which range from creating small land bridges to reactivating a network of jump pads spread across the islands.
Crowds of Monsters
While the basics of combat will transfer into this portion of the journey, the monsters will now attack in groups and those groups will come in waves
You’ll also need to contend with all-new threats, including the Telkhines, mer-people who wield water and ice magic; and the poison-spitting Abas, who like to burrow underground and often need to be uprooted with a Catastrophe Quake stomp.
The new top-down camera angle will help with keeping track of the mobs.
Immortals Fenyx Rising - The Lost Gods will be available on April 22 for Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna as part of the Immortals Fenyx Rising Season Pass, as a separate purchase, or with a Ubisoft+ subscription.
The Immortals Fenyx Rising demo is free, features exclusive content and is available now on Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
