Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS4, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. The game has managed to attract more players than Odyssey. Valhalla will launch for PlayStation 5 today, November 12.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has officially launched on November 10, 2020. The game lets its players experience an exciting Viking saga set in ninth-century England.

The latest reports from Ubisoft have brought word that a bunch of players have kicked off their adventure as Eivor, as Valhalla’s day-one player base has more than doubled that of its popular predecessor Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. No actual numbers have been given. Yet.

In addition to the large day-one player base, Assassin's Creed Valhalla also surpassed all other Ubisoft titles in terms of launch-day viewership on Twitch and YouTube.

Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft co-founder and CEO had this to say about the game and its reception so far:

"We are humbled by the reception from the players and extremely proud of what our teams have accomplished with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which builds on the amazing success of its predecessors,"

"In the context of COVID-19, shipping Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on no less than seven platforms is an incredible achievement for all of the teams involved around the world. We are excited to greet players on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 with a game that unleashes the power of the new hardware. This paves the way for an exciting holiday, with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla set to be one of this season’s biggest hits."

Assassin's Creed Valhalla has continued in the footsteps of Creed and Origins by retaining the previously introduced RPG elements. The innovations for the latest game came in the form of a new combat system, new gear and settlement progression, and a reworked narrative and quest structure.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out now on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS4, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. The game will also launch for PlayStation 5 today, November 12, 2020.
