Agent 47's big return for the third instalment of the Hitman trilogy is almost here and to celebrate the official release, IO Interactive have released a launch trailer, showcasing new locations and much more.
The trilogy finale of the mega-popular stealth-action series Hitman is just around the corner. And with the release being only two days away, the developer IO Interactive have another, brand new trailer to celebrate the release of their game.
It is the official launch trailer, which showcases new locations as well as some of the ways to complete your objectives. It's safe to say that the game looks simply stunning in 4K and we cannot wait to star out adventure with Agent 47 for one last time in the World of Assassination trilogy.
In case you are not familiar with the game, Hitman 3 will feature six brand new locations including Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza and an epilogue set deep in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. Traditionally, if you own previous Hitman games (Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 ) you will be able to import maps, levels and your progress into Hitman 3.
The game is also in the middle of a controversy surrounding its exclusivity to Epic Games Store, which was not received well by the community. It has been announced that those who owned Hitman 2 on Steam would have to buy the game again on Epic Games Store to import locations but IO Interactive confirmed the are working on a solution and players will not need to re-purchase the game on EGS.
Hitman 3 is officially hitting the shelves on January 20, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, Switch, and PC.
